Vanhaerents Art Collection is a privately curated collection of contemporary art based in Brussels, open through monthly public days, guided visits by reservation, and events. With Reflections on Breathing, the collection presents work by Danish artist Jeppe Hein in the project space. The exhibition brings together the participatory project Breathe With Me, a selection of Modified Social Benches, and rotating mirror sculptures. At its core is Breathe With Me, a large-scale participatory work inviting visitors to visualize their breath by painting one blue line per exhale onto the walls, gradually forming a collective drawing of presence and connection.
